MAC Lissone, Monza
10.10.2026 - 17.01.2027
The Lissone Design Award returns with an exhibition entitled ‘How to Live?’, curated by Stefano Raimondi, running from 10 October 2026 to 17 January 2027 at the MAC, with the opening scheduled for Saturday, 10 October 2026, at 6.00 pm, to coincide with Contemporary Art Day organised by AMACI.
This new edition of the Award explores how our homes, the objects within them and the habits we cultivate there are changing, amidst automation, housing insecurity and new emotional balances. The exhibition continues the journey begun with the previous ‘Abitare la città’ Design Prize, shifting the focus from the urban to the domestic sphere and presenting design not as a self-contained discipline, but as a field of interrelationships between art, knowledge and diverse practices.
The exhibition brings together over 40 works by 20 international artists: John Armleder, Lynda Benglis, Marco Cingolani, Wim Delvoye, Gelitin, John Giorno, Christian Holstad, Bryan Hunt, Bertrand Lavier, Ryan Mendoza, Jonathan Monk, Luigi Ontani, Jack Pierson, Paola Pivi, Riccardo Previdi, Wilfredo Prieto, Rob Pruitt, Erik Saglia, Sam Samore and John Torreano.
