Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art is pleased to announce its participation in SP Arte-Rotas with a solo show by Fernão Cruz.

Fernão Cruz (1995, Portugal) presents Liame, the result of his latest two-month artist residency in São Paulo curated by Lucas Albuquerque.

This new body of work consists of seven painting-sculptures, in which everyday objects evoke the ghosts of a body: clothing, sheets, and mobility devices meet human limbs and other protuberances. It's an exercise in relationships: with space, with the body, and with others. In this work the artist proposes a visual listening to what is trapped — and what, even so, insists on moving.
